The early 1.3 engines were indeed 59 BHP, called the "Endura-E" with push-rods and tappets, and were fitted to Escorts, Ka, early Fiestas, but an OHC engine of similar size was put into service in the Fiesta briefly, before the redesigned 1.25L Zetec-SE was available in volume, and overlapped for a while.
The only body style was the 5-door hatchback, with the 1.6-litre engine in GLX trim, with the Fiesta ST offered only in 2005. The Fiesta Sportizm was sold in Japan and was limited to 50 cars. The model is based on the 1.6-litre GHIA and is equipped with sporty body kits, a rear spoiler, and 'Sportizm' badging on the exterior and floormats.

The 1.25 is a zetec engine its faster than the 1.3, the 1.3 engine was carried over from the old MK3 fiesta , the 1.25 was a new engine for the MK4 so its newer as well, The 1.25 turns out 75BHP where the 1.3 only turns out about 60, i can't imagine the fuel consumption is that different.
