The MBP 13” is a strange beast. The biggest knock is that it uses an old design, including the Touch Bar which doesn’t exist on any other Apple computer. Plus, you’re missing MagSafe and a bunch of other ports. The M2 MacBook Air has the new design, a nicer screen, and is very thin and light.

Like with the Intel MacBook Pro 13’s extra storage, it is probably not worth buying one over an M1 MacBook Pro 13 given the huge performance advantage of the latter.
